i havent been on here for a while but ill tell you a few things

- Freekz is awsome best site in the south now
- I train every weekend so im not going to say about each one
- KoTH with titans was the best fun ive had in ages
- im not killing from the snake (i think)

reading april 22nd - nspl - Riptide

• We lost every game.
• We were all very tired.
• I got lost and went out of bounds whilst mugging someone
• Videos were taken of us.
• I had a lift with James B we ended up in an army barracks in the morning and just short of London on the way back form reading! Don’t ask how.
• I got threats because of my red hat ;) lol
• Frans scared me

A few more things happened.  But it’s depressing to write about it so I’m going to stop.

NSPL Round 2 – UCZ – 18/3/07

This was the first event of 07 for riptide.  It turned out an interesting day, which because I’ve just decide to write about it now I’ve forgotten most of the detail.  So I’m going to write a short few facts:

• Riptide came 4^th (I think).
• We beat all the good teams, but lost to all the bad ones.
• We beat blitz that was about the most important win for me.
• I didn’t have one run though.
• I played a lot better and I believe it helped the team a lot.
• I’m still panicking when I’m one of the last few left.
• Most of the team hasn’t played together before so we didn’t have much team bonding and I think we lost a game or two because of it.  By HG5 we will be wasting everyone!
• We looked cool in our new team tops.
• I didn’t brake anyone’s stuff (surprise surprise)
• I annoyed a lot of people, but they new I was joking (I hope)
• I played well but not aggressive enough.
• I played mid on the left with my crazy both handed shooting one of my many great skills.
• You lot are all getting bored of reading this by now
• I’ll be back for reading and playing a lot better so watch out.

Hi,

I played at a 5man KoTH (king of the hill) tournament and came 4^th with my team and the day turned out to be a blast thanks for that guys.  We went into it as the underdogs, two kids still in middle school one of 10? Ryan and the other 12 Bob both stars of the future there I think.  We had me and one other nspl player Nick who helped me greatly not only by co-organising it but by playing really well on the day.  So we only had 4players for a 5man tournament so we had to borrow players from another team hellfire, thanks for the help guys!

The day was very relaxed and was a lot of fun.  I played alright but wasn’t too much to shout about.  I played back centre but I was never to be in that bunker more than half way though a game as I had to move, to either fill in a bunker or make the game suite our style of play.  Our game plan was to play defensive and earn our moments to win the game, we would let them come to us and let them think they had the upper hand then when we had the right moment we managed to push them back and hopefully get the win.  Anyway I didn’t play snake as I have spent little time playing there and I didn’t want to make the chances of us getting silver were impossible so I played the ‘aggressive back player’.

I only made one run though and the ref made a bad call or either the balls didn’t break as I mugged 2 of the 3 player in the back centre, middle left & right.  I got the two mid players as they both moved to see if they were out and only one walked and the ref didn’t do anything to help apart from call me out which was fair enough as all the guns started to point at me. OUCH!!!!!  Anyway it was against the second best team cool as ice so if I did pull it off it would have been the best move of the day by miles. 

I am not going to tell you much more about me now as I’m sure you are all starting to get a bit bored.  I would like to say thanks to Syd not only for putting up with me but for fitting the new parts to my gun and getting my new gold C7 gear bling bling.  The two youngsters won two games for us and I think in both of those games the older lot were all out first (me included) - so watch out for them!

I am thinking about making the Titans an official KoTH team, so watch out for us guys you will be wearing our paint at the end of the day.  Yet again thanks for all the help everyone gave me and I had a lot of fun.

i am making my second entry on to my site.  Before you say anything else i have played other tournys i just haven't written about them as this is a new site and its all too far in the past.  Right back to the point, last sunday (date above) i played in a 3man newbie tounry to have a bit of fun, practice and to get my mate back into paintball.  We came 3rd overall, we had a shot to be first but we needed to win every game in the afternoon, but becasue my friend and who ever else guested for us were constantly getting shot out early i couldn't win everything by myself, i did try don't hurt me Jay.  The morning i was playing in a position i didnt like and i was a bit rusty so i went out very early on in every game.  However in the afternoon i had some insprided play, with my kill count shooting though the rough, i was able to regain some convidence and make some important run thoughs and other fancy moves.  Every game apart from 1 i hung the flag for my team, usally after a run though.  A few occasions i did lose my head a bit, i tried to run though 3players (to my defence i thought there was only 2, so it made it a lot harder) which wasn't a good idea.  in game 9 i ran out of paint which was a dicieding factor in the game as i never had enough paint to fix both oppents into there bunkers to let me do a run though. 

But i will stop randomling on now and i would just like to thank everyone who played, marshalled and coached this event it was amazing.  Even though my mate nicked the cup, paint and my clothes.

my name is Tim i live in Dorset (England) i play piantball as much as i can and it is taking over my life.  I play for one of the best teams in the south of England ~ Bournmouth Riptide.  I prefer to play mid to back but im forced to play front because of numbers gggggrrrrrrrrrrrrrr!  ill have some pics of me balling for various teams up soon.  I shot a PMR which im curently upgrading when money allows, i have a realoder B (with rip oohh) and a evil scion air bottle.  I have been playing for just over a year.  I have made many friends and had some good support though Colsey, Syd, Samsta, nige etc...  I play at a high level but i should be better if my parents would take me everywere and get me there on time, sorry Colsey (legend).  If you ever want me to play in the south of England or you want me to guest for you and Riptide arent playing then give me a shot at Tim_Lages@hotmail.co.uk or paontball mad on the PGI forums.  I live and breathe paintball it is my life and i dont want it any other way!
